WASHINGTON, D.C.U.S. Representatives Glenn “GT” Thompson (R-PA) and Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (D-GA), co-chairs of the bipartisan Congressional Scouting Caucus, this week introduced a resolution celebrating the 115th Anniversary of Scouting America.

Scouting America was incorporated in Chicago, Illinois on February 8th, 1910. Since then, millions of young men and women have joined Scouting and have learned the values of patriotism, courage, and self-reliance.

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Today, U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson announced the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission in Ridgway as the recipient of a $8,552,175 award from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Fiscal Year 25-26 Multimodal Project Discretionary Grant (MPDG). This investment will address longstanding infrastructure challenges by restoring and replacing several bridges throughout the region.

AASD in Potter County - Pennsylvania's smallest school district - was selected to decorate the Pennsylvania Tree, which is part of the National Christmas Tree display's "Pathway of Peace" south of the White House at the Ellipse.
