WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson (PA-15) today announced more than $1.9 million in federal funding for the Ford City Storm Sewer Rehabilitation Project.
The funding is part of an initiative to improve the Borough’s stormwater management system. This money will be used to replace nearly 6,300 feet of outdated storm sewer pipes, which are fundamental for transporting stormwater runoff in several highly populated and flood-prone areas of the community.

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson (PA-15) today announced $1.8 million in federal funding for the West Market Street Pedestrian Improvements and Traffic System Improvements Project in East Buffalo Township.
The funding will help improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety in the downtown area of East Buffalo. The project will create curb extensions at various intersections, which will help lower traffic speeds and shorten the distance at pedestrian crossings.

The funding will advance critical upgrades to both above- and below-ground systems including the full replacement of water, sewer, and stormwater utilities. It will also enable the construction of a curb-less, multi-modal corridor that prioritizes accessibility, safety, and economic growth in the heart of downtown.
