As of 12:01 a.m. on October 1, funding for many federal government operations has lapsed. I supported a package passed by the House that would extend current funding until November 21, 2025, but the proposal did not pass the Senate.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Representatives Glenn "GT" Thompson (PA-15) and Jill Tokuda (HI-02), introduced the bipartisan Helping Ensure Access to Local TeleHealth (HEALTH) Act, as part of National Telehealth Awareness Week. This legislation secures Medicare reimbursement for telehealth services provided by community health centers and rural health clinics.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson today announced Forest County will receive $1,573,883 in grant funding from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) to expand broadband services in the county.
The grant funding will cover the third phase of the county’s broadband project. As a result, seven telecom/network sites will be constructed to serve four communities including: Hickory, Barnett, Green, and Harmony townships.
