The time to submit requests for Community Project Funding (CPF) for Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) to the office of Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson (PA-15) has passed. Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 of the U.S. Constitution entrusts Congress with the authority to make appropriations through law. It is the legislative branch’s duty to determine how discretionary federal funds are allocated to local government entities, nonprofit organizations, or geographic locations.

The deadline to submit requests to the office of Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson (PA-15) for Member Designated Projects (MDP) for the upcoming surface transportation reauthorization has passed.  Enacted in 2015, the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act, was the last comprehensive, long-term surface transportation legislation and is set to expire on September 30, 2021.
