COUDERSPORT, Pa. – U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson today announced that Ms. Archie Walker, of Lock Haven, Pa. has accepted a fully qualified appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.
Walker is a senior at Central Mountain High School. She is the daughter of Jennifer and Greg Walker of Lock Haven and she has three siblings: Jackson, Lucy, and Lane Walker.

Gaston is a senior at Brookville Area High School. He is the son of Becky and Mike Gaston of Brookville. He is the grandson of Hazel and Joe Gaston of Brookville and Nancy and Ted Fox of Brookville.

Earlier this week, news of campus closures was leaked, indicating that the DuBois campus would be shuttered.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representatives Glenn "GT" Thompson (R-PA) and Terri Sewell (D-AL) introduced the Solid American Hardwood Tax Credit Act to allow individual taxpayers to include solid American manufactured hardwood products, such as flooring and paneling, as qualified home energy efficiency improvements under the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit. By including hardwood materials as eligible products for this credit, the legislation will provide meaningful environmental and economic benefits.
