President Donald Trump recently brokered a deal with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. WASHINGTON – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R.2500, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2020 by a vote of 220-197. The annual authorizing legislation sets Department of Defense (DOD) policy for the coming fiscal year.
