Bellefonte, PA – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-05) today joined a bipartisan group of federal, state and locally elected officials, in voicing their opposition to a proposal from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency which would result in increased compliance measures dealing with ozone. As a result of the regulations, three counties in the 5th Congressional District - Erie, Centre and Clearfield - would fall out of compliance with federal law, as reported today by the Center for Regulatory Solutions (CRS).

With the announcement this summer that a $150,000 grant will go toward the project, funding needed to complete the town square has been secured.
