Media Advisory: Thompson Hosting Workshop in Ridgway on Funding Opportunities Available for Rural Communities

Washington, DC – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-05), a senior member of the House Agriculture Committee, will join the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission in hosting a workshop in Ridgway focused on funding opportunities for projects in rural communities. Discussion will focus on funds available for community development, municipal projects and business development financing, and will include advice on how to apply for grants, and support the Congressman’s office can provide during the process.
