Washington, DC – Congressman Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-05) today announced that his staff will hold constituent office hours in Clearfield on Thursday, Jan. 14. Thompson’s staff will be available to answer questions and provide assistance to area residents and business owners on a wide variety of federal issues. Those issues include, but are not limited to, economic and workforce development opportunities, Social Security, Medicare and Veterans’ benefits.

Washington, DC – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-05) and U.S. Rep. Michael Conaway (TX-11), Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, will hold a public forum at the 100th Pennsylvania Farm Show to discuss federal agriculture policy. Thompson and Conaway will be joined by U.S. Reps. Lou Barletta (PA-11), Mike Kelly (PA-03), Tom Marino (PA-10), Crescent Hardy (NV-04), Mark Amodei (NV-02) and Dan Newhouse (WA-04).
Today, U.S. Rep. Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-05) voted in favor of H.R. H.R. 3762, theRestoring Americans’ Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act, which repeals the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as Obamacare. The bill passed using the reconciliation process, a procedure included in the budget resolution that tasked committees to create budgetary savings and limited debate in the Senate to 20 hours, warding off a filibuster.
