HOWARD, Pa. – U.S. Representative Glenn "GT" Thompson (PA-15) and a bicameral group of Members of Congress sent a letter to President Biden urging him to approve a request by Governor Josh Shapiro for a major disaster declaration for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Members pressed the President to provide swift assistance to the counties across the Commonwealth that experienced severe storms and flooding earlier this month.

WASHINGTON, D.C.U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson announced the Dickinson Center Building Project in St. Marys as the recipient of a $750,000 grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). This funding will consolidate several community and health services in Elk and Cameron counties into one new downtown facility that will provide thousands of residents with access to efficient care and services.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson today announced that Mr. Samuel Harvey, of Warren, Pa. has accepted a fully qualified appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.

Harvey is a senior at Warren Area High School. He is the son of Samuel and Rachel Harvey of Warren, Pa. He is the grandson of Samuel and Kathy Harvey of Manassas, Va., and George and Ruby Sakai of Topeka, Kan. He has three siblings Sarah, Annabelle, and John Harvey.

Staff will be available to meet with residents who need assistance from federal agencies, such as the Social Security Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the IRS, and others.
