WASHINGTON— Today, U.S. Representative Glenn "GT" Thompson announced that Forest County is the recipient of a $451,315 Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant. The grant will supplement local funds to deploy two broadband towers and a 911 repeater, to improve the county's emergency radio communications. The project will offer broadband services to 387 households and 15 businesses. In addition to the ARC grant, the county will provide $118,885, bringing the total cost of the project to $570,200.
WASHINGTON — Today, U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT' Thompson voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022, which increases pay for our service members, reverses national security cuts, ensures military readiness, and restores funding to modernize American shipyards.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Representative Glenn "GT" Thompson today announced Clarion County is the recipient of a $1,096,125 Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) POWER grant. This federal funding will support the Clarion County Connected broadband project.
The ARC investment will result in the availability of high-quality broadband service to 85 businesses and 1,620 households. The funds will be used to develop a fixed wireless broadband solution for the county's unserved and underserved areas.
