WASHINGTON – House Leadership today appointed U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT' Thompson, Vice Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, to the conference committee tasked with negotiating a final Farm Bill.
The House and Senate have each passed their own versions of the 2018 Farm Bill, and a final bill must pass both chambers of Congress before it can be sent to the president to be signed into law.
