HOWARD, PA — Today, U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT' Thompson encouraged students in Pennsylvania's 15th Congressional District to participate in the Congressional App Challenge.
The Congressional App Challenge is a public effort to encourage students to learn how to code through annual district-wide competitions hosted by Members of Congress for their district.
SARVER, PA — Today, Rep. Glenn 'GT' Thompson joined Vice President Mike Pence for the first stop on his "Great American Comeback" tour at Oberg Industries in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The event included remarks from the Vice President as well as a round table discussion with Congressmen Thompson, Mike Kelly, and Guy Reschenthaler, highlighting the economic comeback post-Coronavirus.
Upon conclusion of the event, Congressman Thompson issued the following statement:
WASHINGTON, DC– Today, Congressman Glenn 'GT' Thompson announced Mr.Kaleb Farmery of Marion Center, Indiana County, has accepted a fully-qualified appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Kaleb is the son of Wyatt and Jessica Farmery and a senior at Marion Center High School. During his time in school, Kaleb was involved with the Air Force Junior ROTC and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
WASHINGTON, DC– Today, Congressman Glenn 'GT' Thompson announced Mr.Jack 'JD' Barnes Shaw of Russell, Warren County, has accepted a fully-qualified appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy.
Jack is the son of James and Ruth Shaw and a senior at Agora Cyber Charter School. During his time in school, Jack was very involved with Boy Scouts, Civil Air Patrol, and fencing.
