Thompson Comments on Opposition to Democrat’s $3.5 Trillion Tax and Spending Spree

Howard, PA — Upon passage of S.Con.Res.14, the Democrat's $3.5 trillion budget resolution, Congressman Glenn "GT" Thompson released the following statement:

"Speaker Pelosi and the House Democrat's budget resolution opens the door for massive tax increases on small businesses and families, while adding trillions of dollars to our national debt. They have put together a blueprint to spend money we do not have, while aiming to put the government in the driver's seat when it comes to your healthcare, and it even goes as far to offer amnesty to illegal immigrants in the midst of an ongoing crisis at our southern border. Rather than saddle future generations with crushing debt, Congress should be working towards commonsense, pro-growth policies, which will have positive impacts across Pennsylvania and our country."
