HOWARD, Pa.U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson today announced more than $2 million in federal funding for the Howard Fire Company and Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services (MVEMS).

The Howard Fire Company will receive $98,653 to replace and upgrade the company’s existing 25-year-old rescue jet boat, which is vital for water-based rescue operations.
