A bill that could help curb suicide rates in the military is making its way to the U.S. Senate, thanks in part to the work of a pair of Pennsylvania’s legislators. The Mental Evaluation Parity for Service Members Act has been championed by both Republican Sen. Pat Toomey and Rep. Glenn Thompson, R-Howard Township.
