Making federal policy decisions based on the ever-changing science of nutrition means mistakes are inevitable and corrections will be needed. A case-in-point is a federal nutrition law that restricts schoolkids’ access to more flavorful and filling milk based on now-outdated science. That restriction should be lifted. Congress ought to pass U.S. Rep. Glenn Thompson’s Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act, which would restore healthy full-fat milk to public school cafeterias.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Glenn "GT" Thompson today announced that Mr. Brady Bendik of State College, Pennsylvania, has accepted a fully-qualified appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland.
Bendik is a 2022 graduate of State College Area High School, and he is the son of Lori and Frank Bendik. Bendik comes from a long line of military service, with his father and brother graduating from the Naval Academy in 1990 and 2020, respectively.
Last week, Congressman Glenn Thompson toured Otto-Eldred School District's agriculture program. On Wednesday, he joined fellow legislators to introduce a bill that would help those students pursue a career in farming in the future.

Liu is a senior at Indiana Area High School, and he is the son of Laurel and Jeff Liu. He has one brother, Kevin Liu.
