Strategic study will guide future recreational developments in area
WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson today announced a $115,000 federal grant to study recreational opportunities in the Galeton Berger Lake and Centertown Park Area.
The Appalachian Regional Commission awarded the grant to the Galeton Development Corporation. It prepared the application with assistance from North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson today announced a $75,900 federal grant for Penn State University students and scholars working on group projects overseas.
The U.S. Department of Education awarded the funding through the Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad program.
