Washington, DC – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson, R-Howard, announced today that Centre County will receive over $2 million in federal funding through the Fiscal Year 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act. The Funds were requested by Thompson’s predecessor, Rep. John Peterson, who was a Member of the House Appropriations Committee.

While Thompson maintains two full time district offices – Bellefonte and Titusville – he remains committed to providing top-notch constituent services in every county and community. The Congressman’s staff will hold constituent hours quarterly at various locations across the district.
