Thompson Staff to Hold Constituent Hours throughout District

July 8, 2009

Washington, D.C.—U.S. Representative Glenn `GT’ Thompson, R-Howard, announced today that his district office staff will be fanning out across the Fifth Congressional District to hold constituent hours throughout the month of July. While Thompson maintains two full time district offices—Bellefonte and Titusville—he is committed to bringing constituent services to every one of the 17 counties by offering these hours in different locations across the district.

“The Fifth District is the largest and most rural Congressional District in the State. Often it isn’t easy to drop by either of my offices,” said Thompson. “We are always available by telephone, but we want to make sure those who want to meet with staff have the opportunity to do so.”

Thompson’s staff will be available to answer questions and to assist area residents and business owners with a wide variety of issues including, but not limited to, economic and workforce development opportunities, social security, Medicare and veterans’ benefits. If you are not able to attend and need assistance, please contact Congressman Thompson’s Bellefonte Office at 814-353-0215 or visit his website at https://thompson.house.gov.
