U.S. Rep. Thompson & PA Farm Bureau President to Hold Barnyard Discussion at Penn State’s Ag Progress Days

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-5), Chairman of the U.S. House Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation, Energy, and Forestry, and Carl T. Shaffer, President of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, today announced plans for a “Barnyard Discussion” on agriculture policy during Penn State’s Ag Progress Days. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, from 3:00-4:00pm, at Penn State University’s Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center.
