Thompson Now Accepting Community Project Funding Requests for Fiscal Year 2027

February 19, 2026

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson (PA-15) today announced that he will begin accepting Community Project Funding (CPF) requests for Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27).

“The people in Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District know best when it comes to projects that will improve public safety, quality of life, and our communities,” Rep. Thompson said.

Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 of the U.S. Constitution entrusts Congress with the authority to make appropriations through law. It is the legislative branch’s duty to determine how discretionary federal funds are allocated to local government entities, nonprofit organizations, or geographic locations. While there are no guarantees that a community project will be funded, they are all competitively evaluated by the Committee on Appropriations.

Rep. Thompson is accepting applications until Close of Business on March 6, 2026.

The FY27 Community Project Funding (CPF) Request Form can be found here.
