Thompson to Join High School Students from across the 5th Congressional District for Educational Seminar
Washington, D.C. — U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-5) will join students from high schools throughout the 5th Congressional District for an educational seminar, “Government Outreach 2013”. The events will be held on three seperate days at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, in Erie, Pa.; the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, Bradford, Pa.; and Lock Haven University, in Lock Haven, Pa. Details for each event are included below.
During the events, which are sponsored by local employers, students will hear remarks from Thompson regarding his responsibilities as a Member of Congress, presentations from numerous guest panelists and inspirational speakers, and have the opportunity to interact with University officials concerning future education and career opportunities.
