Thompson Announces Upcoming Constituent Staff Hours for Huntingdon County
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-5) today announced that his district office staff will hold constituent office hours in Huntingdon, Pa., on Monday, May 20th, 2013.
“The Fifth District makes up 23 percent of Pennsylvania’s landmass and is the largest of the state’s 18 congressional districts,” stated Rep. Thompson. “We maintain two full-service district offices to assist constituents in navigating the federal government, but in a district that is larger than the state of New Jersey, it is absolutely essential to take the office on the road.”
The office hours will be held at the Huntingdon County Commissioners' Office from 9:30 to 11:30AM.
“I spend a lot of time in Huntingdon County listening to concerns of constituents,” Rep. Thompson added, “but these office hours bring the full range of services of the 5th District office to our local communities.”
Thompson’s staff will be available to assist area residents and business owners with a wide variety of federal issues including, but not limited to, economic and workforce development opportunities, Social Security, Medicare and Veterans’ benefits.
