June 28, 2016

Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-5) announced that Mr. Noah Schwab of State College has been accepted to the U.S. Air Force Academy Prep School. Noah is the son of Neil and Rachel Schwab.

“Mr. Schwab’s acceptance to the U.S. Air Force Academy Prep School is the continuation of his lifelong dream to follow his mother’s footsteps as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces,” Thompson said. “With many athletic and educational accomplishments, partnered with volunteer work in the community, Noah is primed to succeed in this next endeavor,” Thompson added.

Mr. Schwab graduated from State College High School earlier this month. Throughout his years in high school, he participated in the Civil Air Patrol, excelled in varsity lacrosse and also was on the high school’s football team. Noah also displayed a strong work ethic as a summer lifeguard and as a volunteer youth lacrosse coach.

Mr. Schwab’s grandparents are Robert and Nancy Schwab of Tidioute and Gerald and Betsy Lyter of Millerstown.
