Thompson Announces $768,000 in Federal Funding for Clinton County First Responders

WASHINGTON, DC. – U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson today announced $768,000 for Clinton County to purchase new communications equipment for first responders in the region.
 
The equipment will enhance the interoperability, safety, and efficiency of the daily operations of each department in the county.
 
“I am pleased to see this project funding come through for Clinton County and the entire community,” Rep. Thompson said. “To best protect our communities, we must provide our first responders with the means to succeed. This funding will improve the safety of residents and visitors alike across the county. I look forward to the positive impacts this will throughout all our communities.”
