Media Advisory: Thompson to Address White House Rural Forum on PSU Campus

Bellefonte, PA – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-05), chairman of the House Subcommittee on Conservation and Forestry and a senior member of the House Agriculture Committee, will be on hand to address the attendees of the White House Rural Forum, scheduled to take place at the Penn State University’s HUB-Robeson Center on Wednesday. Thompson is scheduled to provide remarks at 12:30pm

The forum, sponsored by the White House Rural Council and the United States Department of Agriculture, will provide a platform to share policies and practices that are essential to driving economic growth and improving the quality of life in rural America.

Thompson will be joining U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture, Russell Redding, and Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, in addressing the forum.
